Autumn Daffodils – The Complete Box Set

Hi everybody. Because the Box Set of the “None Stood Taller” trilogy is proving to be very popular, we thought perhaps we should do the same for Peter’s “Autumn Daffodils” series, which is two books entitled “Autumn Daffodils, Charlie’s Story” and “Autumn Daffodils, Joanna’s Story”. We are discovering that some readers prefer to have a whole series ready to read, rather than read them one by one. It’s ‘swings and roundabouts’ as the saying goes, but we thought we should publish this second Box Set! Enjoy!

  1. Dear Peter,
I finished the first book, None Stood Taller, and am a third of the way through the second book. I was born in 1942 when the war was still going on, and I do remember having air raid drills in school. My father was not able to enlist due to health issues, so I never learned first hand about what was going on in Europe. My maiden name is Warwick, an English surname, and i wanted to read about what was happening in England then.
I have been reading a lot of historical fiction, and I hope you continue to write about history. My life’s work has been a pianist and mostly a piano teacher, but I enjoy reading a lot.
You keep the story moving and I like your style of writing. Thank you for your book offerings so far. Maybe you would consider writing a book about the arts during World War 11. I would definitely read it! Many thanks for your books. You are a gifted author!
    Thank you,

    1. Thank you so much, Eleanor, for your extremely kind comments. I’m delighted to know that you are enjoying my “None Stood Taller” series. I spend a lot
of time researching for my novels as I am determined to have my facts right. I do actually greatly enjoy the research, as I am learning all the time too!
I hadn’t thought of a book about the Arts, but am currently finalising my 6th novel, which is also set in WWII, including the London Blitz this time. I do appreciate
your comments and encouragement, and – yes – I shall keep on writing! Kind regards, Peter.
