Outstanding! I read all 5 books in a relatively short time and just loved it! I regularly give my step mother (98) books as gifts for birthdays and Christmas, which she loves. I gave her the set of five books this past Christmas. She was from England (near Bristol) and was in her teens when ww2 began. She has been thoroughly engrossed in the books which brought up many memories. She was also a member of the WRNS (Women’s Royal Navy Service), who played a crucial role in supporting the war effort. She has since passed the books onto her daughter and family friends! Kudos! Can’t wait for the 6th book!
