I have learned so much about World War II, being born after the peace in 1945. I have seen movies, read spy books, but yours is an overview of the history around the war that has enlightened me. Your research is evident, but the words you choose to write open the reader to a more thorough understanding. Thank you.

All 3 books were fantastic I could not put them down. The publishers have missed out by not taking them on! Can’t wait to read more of Peter Turnham’s books.

I’ve just finished your “None Stood Taller” series and feel compelled to tell you how incredible each of these books has been for me. SO well written you don’t want to put it down; but at the same time you don’t want to continue because you don’t want the book to end! I will continue to search for your written word. Sincerely, Mari.

What a brilliant book. Unputdownable!! A real page turner. I really enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to read the rest of the series. The characters were so well described they became real. Brilliantly written.

I have read the first two books; can’t wait to continue with “The Final Year”. I thank you for them; will tell all my reading friends to not miss them! I was just a child during this time but those war years memories remain with me.

Wonderful. Couldn’t put the book down. I am 88. So lived during that era. But in the States. Brought back many memories. Great books, will read them, all thanks so much.

I have just finished reading the last book of this trilogy & I have found that the facts contained in the books have reverberated through my mind & made me stop to think, really think, about the terrible chaos, heartbreak & courage of people during not only the 1st but 2nd world war. The books, however, included some heart-warming stories of love & friendship. I was born after the war but reading these books has taken me into the heart of the war to the suffering & degradations caused by one particular madman. Thankyou for your time & insight to bring us these stories & I hope that many more will read these books and enjoy them as I have.

As an avid fan of WWII novels I have devoured this trilogy. I’m on my second reading of vol 1 and vol 2. I can’t get enough of Edward and Lily. and you have left me longing for more. As a love story put on hold for the duration of the war for the greater cause of winning the war. I can see your scientific side coming in with the vast scope of all the campaigns and challenges of the Blitz, the V1 and V2 rocket attacks, as well as the indomitable spirit of the English people. Truly “The Greatest Generation”. My family was part of this as well. I was 12 days old when Pearl Harbor was bombed. My Father served as a paratrooper in the Pacific and my uncle gave his life at Leyte Gulf.
