I am still reading these wonderful stories, but I think they really are amazing. They’ve given me a whole new insight into the goings on before D Day as well as the planning, successes and failures along the way. The characters in these stories are remarkable for their courage and tenacity, and they are just plain enjoyable. I can’t wait to read them all and how the characters end up.

I can only say your None Stood taller series and Autumn Daffodils stories, are wonderful Reads, your characters are so diverse, amusing, sad and the stories you have created weaving through every book are brilliant. Looking toward to your next one…

I’ve read all of Mr Turnham’s books and have enjoyed them immensely.
I found it hard to put them down and so I kept reading for days. Not only did I connect with all the characters, but I leaned so much about the war.
Mr Turnham is a wonderful writer and story teller.
Please write more. I have become your biggest fan.

I am a voracious reader and a WWII history buff. Your series is among the top 5 books I have ever read. The detail and research you put into each book is so meticulous, I learned so much about the War that I’ve never read before. You fleshed out the key characters in the books so that I felt I knew them intimately. None Stood Taller has enraptured me in my promise to know and understand WWII from the standpoint of the British people. Having pursued Science degrees, this resulted in a grave lacking of the significant history. Now that I’m retired, I am spending significant time researching and reading anything and everything about that entire world-compassing war.
None Stood Taller was the first book series that provided a glimpse of what the British people endured, while maintaining the factual history. I am thrilled that I discovered this magnificent series, it has satisfied all of my expectations!
I thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Turnham’s university-level writing style, and I am anxious to read the next series.

Second read and still hooked! I absolutely loved this series. I don’t often re-read books but this one deserved that. I really liked the strong female characters and a story that portrayed what happened when you put together brilliant minds in a supportive team.

“None Stood Taller” – what a great story! I’ve read all three books. I have loved every minute of this reading. Such exceptional writing! My parents lived through WW2; I have been connected to this story through them. The characters seem real, and some are real. The excitement is unending in these books! You will love these books when you have finished them! Highly recommended!
