A Wonderful Read – I quickly became involved with the characters; amazing insight into the fears and tragedies of WW2. An education into the intricacies of how the war progressed, and was won, and amazing depiction of characters, their lives, relationships, vital roles in a secret world of strategy, strong women, bravery, fortitude. Makes me proud of the British.

On the Edge of my Seat – Shirley Coughtrey: Great book, fast moving, and a real insight into what happened before D-Day.

Amazing read! Karen, USA: I couldn’t put this book down and cried thru the last chapter. Sorry it’s finished but can’t wait for more adventures.

Superb! Racquel Recio: Awesome book! I just love reading about the people behind the scenes who helped win WW2. Really enjoyed this book so very much and greatly recommend it to all.

I laughed and cried: Autumn Daffodils – Charlie’s Story….You can always tell how a book affects you with the emotions you feel and the speed you read it. Over four afternoons I read this charming and at times hilarious book. I had read None Stood Taller, so decided to go to the author’s first book. Now I have just bought the sequel to this one, Joanna’s Story. Bezzy.

Excellent story, couldn’t put it down: Really enjoyed this book, I found the story fascinating and very fast paced, the characters drawing you into the story more and more as it went. Will definitely look for more work by this author. Highly recommended book on an area of WW2 that we hear less about.

This book has lifted me to another place during these horrendous times. I could picture the characters, places and events. I was totally captured with everything and just wished this type of spirit was alive during the Pandemic. Amazing and well done!
